While much of what you say is true, the last thing people want are excuses. People want results, not excuses. In the end, the result is the only thing that matters. No excuse, no matter how masterfully you word it, will justify poor results. Excuses are for losers. I may not always win, but you won't hear me whining or making up stories to explain my poor performance. I'll put it this way- If I wanted consistent 60 foot times I'd drive a Mustang. But I sure as hell won't use the fact that I drive a Z as any type of excuse. I set out to get a decent time for a stage 3 Z and I did just that.
